I smiled nervously.
“Of course, if you’ll just sign-in for me first.” She motion towards a plastic clipboard with a sign-in sheet and pen attached to it with a long silver chain.
As I placed the pen back down, she tilted her head slightly sideways as she tried to read my name upside down. Her eyebrows furrowed together, “Um, what’s the last name?”
Okay, lady, my handwriting is not that bad.
I took a deep breath before replying, “Swan. Isabella Swan.” I rolled my eyes to myself as I sounded like Bond. James Bond. What a moron.
