About Me

Wow.. so you really want to know more about me....

Yeah, that's not creepy! LOL  I honestly don't know what to say!

I guess, first, thank you for taking the time to check out my blog.  That really means a lot to me.

When I was younger, in the beginning, I hated reading.  I didn't understand the point of having a book and just sitting for hours and reading it.  What's the fun in that?  I probably asked my teacher that a zillion times.  Well, thankfully, I had a great teacher who took the time to realize that I was having issues with staying interested and gave me a bunch of pointers and set me in the right direction.

From that point on, I was a force to be reckoned with-- you had to beg me to stop reading.  If you bought me a book, I was done with it that very same day.  Needless to say, for a small child, I ended up going through a lot of books.

As I grew up, I didn't find the time to read as much as I would have liked and become stubborn in my ways.  And only read, really, when I had to-- I think that's one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.  But, now I find that am I grateful for it because I appreciate the hobby of reading only that much more because I know what it is like to be without it.

A couple of years ago, I had several girlfriends asking me if I had read the Twilight book yet and I was starting to get annoyed.  No, I haven't read the Twilight book, yet, I'd tell them and then they'd go on about how much they think I would enjoy it and if I would read it, it'd be something more we could all talk about.  Yeah, that sounds like fun.  See, friends?  This is all your fault.  Everyone, you can blame them! LOL

There's people in the fandom who remember the exact date they read the book, I don't-- sorry!  I do remember when I finished it though!  It was December 2008, I think!  LOL  It was the night I was going to see the Twilight movie and there was no way in hell I was going to see "that vampire movie" without finishing the book first.  I can't stand that! LOL

So, super long story not-so short, pretty much once I saw the movie (only saw it once in the theatres), I didn't realize there was already another book out (I wasn't down with the power of Twi yet LOL) so I simply just re-read the book and waited until I could get the next one and the next, etc.  Yeah, so once I did that-- there was no turning back.  My poor husband-- that's all I have to say about that! LOL

Sometime between reading half-way through the saga, I joined Twitter and became friends with a great group of ladies and who then introduced me to the world of Twilight fan fiction.  Once again, there was no turning back.  My very first fan fiction was an RPF by feathers_mmmm (Alice Clayton) called I Love LA.  Oh. My. God.  It just blew me away!  I loved it and I think I continuously read it every night for a weekend.  It was great!  I have to admit, for some strange reason, I'm a sucker for Rob RPF.

From that point, my girls kept delivering me my poison and I went on to read great stories like Poughkeepsie, Just This Once and Wide Awake and I am so glad I did.  It's great to see what just a little imagination and some creativity can do!

For more than a year, I had been running a couple of ideas through my head and have finally found the courage and desire to publish them online.  This is my very first attempt, so please go easy on me!

I truly hope you like what you read, I look forward to sharing more with you in the future!

Thanks again for stopping by!
